Frames. All timber frames are manufactured from quality timber with show wood being Tasmanian oak. All joints glued and areas of stress are corner blocked and screwed. WE USE NO PARTICLE BOARD OR MDF IN OUR FRAMES!! Exposed timber can be finished to your requirements with a choice of timber stains from our colour chart.  Cushioning. Quality foam is used in all our products, the density, grade and thickness depends on the particular item, end use and customer requirements. Seat and back cushioning options are foam, dual density plush foam, feather topped foam and feather. Back Cushioning can also be polyester which is not recommended for seating. Foundation. Seat foundation is generally elastic webbing. We use the heaviest weight webbing available and space it much closer than traditional mass manufactured furniture. Contemporary no sag springs may also be used in either the seat or back. We connect these springs to the latest nylon spring hinging which is stapled and screwed to sturdy timber rails. Traditional hand tied coil springs may be used in traditional pieces or reproduction sofas and chairs. This type of foundation is rarely available today, however we are dedicated to maintaining upholstery traditions and our experienced staff not only carry out this work but teach our apprentices the finer art of upholstery. Custom Made, Locally Manufactured. Because we custom make furniture you may choose the design, size, style and finishing trim of your furniture, the options are endless! All our furniture is locally manufactured by individual trades people, not on a production line. We are a small business with a dedicated team of tradespeople who love their work. Our furniture is made to last with an emphasis on detail and customer satisfaction. Warranty. All our furniture has a commercial 5 year warranty. This means if the end use is a rental unit our warranty will cover you where other manufacturers warranties only cover domestic use.
